The Hall of Honor has been the dream of athletic director Steve Van Meter for many years. It is located in the Walter D. Wilson Field House where it will continue to grow each year with additional members. The first induction was on October 4, 2002. The wall is divided into three categories: athletes, coaches and supporters. To recognize and honor these individuals, FISD and FHS will induct the Hall of Fame members during halftime events at the Varsity Mustang home game.
FISD, FHS and the district athletic department are excited about the Wall and the establishment of a tradition of honor for athletics.
2009 inductees will be recognized at the October 23, 2009 varsity football game.
If you would like to nominate an individual please email svanmeter@fisdk12.net for an application. Nominee must be a FHS Alumni, minimum 10 years ago.
Inductee will be selected by FISD teachers and community members.
